This beautiful ranch is located just a short distance below the very majestic white cliffs that the river, the town, and everything in that area is named after. The owner states that he thinks there is about 120 acres in the river bottom, with about a mile of river frontage. The lake currently has rainbow trout, tigers, and eastern brook fish in it, with many around 18 inches in length and very beautiful fish. There is also very good fishing for rainbows, native and brook trout on the beautiful White Rocks River on the property and the National Forest. Within a short distance in three directions from the property to the north, east and west of the ranch there is great hunting for deer, elk, moose, and wild turkeys on the National Forest as well as on the ranch. There are also bears and cougars. The property to the south is Indian land. There is a nice cabin on the property with absolutely amazing views in all directions with all utilities in. The water is from a spring in Red Pine where there are 10 hookups from the spring, and this ranch has 7 of the 10 hookups. The Richmans have 2 hookups, and David Bell has 1 hookup. There is also a nice shop near the cabin. The property on top is generally farm and pasture ground, which is fenced and cross fenced, and had a couple of storage ponds for irrigation water. There is an approximately 3 mile pipeline to bring the water from the river to the ranch. Even though I believe the water filings from the river date back to 1910 and 1911, they were not among the earliest filing on the river, and therefore on dry years you may not get a lot of water from the river. On good water years you also get a lot of irrigation water from Red Pine on the north portion of the property and out of Big Tom for the south part of the property. The water from Red Pine includes natural fertilizer when it flows on the property.
